Welcome to the Science Scholars Academy (SSA). To provide a seamless educational experience, our platform utilizes robust cloud infrastructure alongside secure offline viewing features.
This policy outlines the rules, conditions, and technical safeguards governing your use of SSA’s cloud services and offline content features. By downloading or accessing our content, you agree to these terms.
1. Cloud Services & Data Synchronization
Our platform relies on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure (managed via Google Firebase and related services) to deliver educational content, synchronize your learning progress, and manage your account safely.
- Continuous Access: We strive to ensure our cloud services are available 24/7. However, access may occasionally be suspended temporarily for routine maintenance or unforeseen technical issues.
- Data Syncing: Your course progress, bookmarks, and preferences are automatically synced to our secure cloud databases when your device is connected to the internet.
2. Offline Access & Downloads
To support uninterrupted learning, SSA allows active, enrolled users to download selected videos, PDFs, and supplementary course materials for offline viewing directly within the SSA app.
- In-App Viewing Only: Downloaded materials are encrypted and stored within the app’s secure storage directory. They can only be accessed and viewed using the SSA app.
- Device Limits: Offline content is tied to the specific device on which it was downloaded. You may not transfer offline files to another device, hard drive, or external storage medium.
- Content Availability: We reserve the right to revoke offline access to specific materials at any time (e.g., if a course is updated, a subscription expires, or content is removed for copyright reasons). The app will automatically sync and update your offline library when reconnected to the internet.
3. Strict Usage Restrictions (Anti-Piracy & DRM)
All educational materials provided by SSA are strictly for personal, non-commercial, offline study. The intellectual property belongs solely to Science Scholars Academy and its instructors. To protect our content, the SSA app employs digital rights management (DRM) and screen-capture detection software. You strictly agree NOT to:
- Extract or Export: Attempt to extract, decrypt, or copy downloaded media files (videos, PDFs, images) from the app’s secure storage to your device’s general storage or external drives.
- Share or Distribute: Share downloaded content on social media, file-sharing networks, cloud drives, messaging apps, or with any other individual.
- Record or Capture: Use screen-recording software, screen-capture tools, or external cameras to record, copy, or broadcast video lectures or written materials.
- Modify or Reverse Engineer: Attempt to bypass the app’s security protocols, reverse engineer the application, or modify the content in any way.
4. Violation of Policies
We monitor our systems for unauthorized extraction and distribution of our content.
- Account Suspension: Any attempt to bypass our security measures, extract files, or share content will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your SSA account without a refund.
- Legal Action: SSA reserves the right to pursue civil or criminal legal action against individuals who pirate, illegally distribute, or attempt to monetize our proprietary educational materials.
5. Data Security & Storage
We employ advanced security measures, including secure credential storage and encrypted data transmission, to protect both your personal information and our proprietary content. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and ensuring your SSA account credentials are not shared with others.
